Wood Bat Program

The Wood Bat Committee Chairman is Dave Parker who was instrumental in launching the Wood Bat programs in several cities around the United States. 

The Annual Wood Bat World Series is held Labor Day Weekend and in 2010 it will move for the first time to 

8 field Sportscore complex.

Historically it has been held in and around Denver, Colorado and this is the first time the event has been moved to the Midwest.

The host motel is the Motel 6 in Rockford. Call Kal to get rooms early.

We play on Saturday September 4th and Sunday September 5th with Monday(Sept. 6th) only used as a rain makeup day. Teams have a great time at this event and it has been attended by players from Oregon, California, Minnesota, Iowa, Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Missouri, Kansas and Illinois.
